Walt Disney World Holiday Updates

Earlier today Walt Disney World announced some adjustments and changes to their holiday festivities.

First of all, Disney announced the Holidays will be beginning November 6th and will go until December 30th. There will be decorations, food, and merchandise, but the season is going to look a little different this year.

We will see some new experiences this year in the Disney World parks. Animal Kingdom will have some festive floats in the water while EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom will have various holiday character parades.

While there will be no festive fireworks show at the Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom this year, the castle will have a special whimsical holiday projection. We also won't see any parades or the Candlelight Processional this year as well.

Finally starting November 27th we will see the return of the International Festival of Holidays at EPCOT around the World Showcase. There's going to be a cheese fondue in a bread bowl!!! I want to go!

While it looks like the Holidays won't be the same at Walt Disney World, I am grateful for the adjusted experiences and I can only hope that Disneyland will be open by then as well.
