I just read the news we have been dreading that Disneyland is post-poning their opening. Disneyland is still waiting for approval from the government and unfortunately the State of California won't issue approval until sometime after July 4th. With that being said, there just isn't enough time to get everything together for the July 17th opening.
While it's unfortunate that Disneyland won't be reopening on July 17th, the 65th anniversary of the original opening, it is understandable. Especially considering the fact that California has seen a spike in Coronavirus cases.
However, Downtown Disney is still opening up as scheduled on July 9th. So at least we can get a Disney fix there. I will keep you updated of any other news I hear!
