Well, Disneyland isn't fully opening, but we will be able to step foot further into Disney California than ever before.
Within 24 hours of the state releasing their regulation for theme parks, Disney announced that next month we will be able to step foot onto Buena Vista street for dining and shopping. It appears Disney was hoping to reopen the parks fully. However, since that isn't the case, they announced Plan B.
All stores will be open for shopping along Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. Trolley Treats, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Carthay Circle, Smokejumpers and vending carts will all be available for food and treats. We may even get lucky and see some Christmas decorations in DCA.
I don't know about you but 2020 has made me not take things for granted. Before lockdown, I barely spent any time in Downtown Disney and only briefly would go shopping on Buena Vista Street. But now I have never spent so much time in Downtown Disney and I have never been so excited to walk down Buena Vista Street.
We don't have an exact date beyond sometime next month. I can't wait to step foot inside Disney California Adventure again.
