Disney Magic in Quarantine

This year has been crazy so far. I don't know about you, but I don't think anyone saw this coming. COVID19 has turned our lives upside down. I never imagined both U.S. Disney parks would be closed until further notice.

Hopefully everyone is doing their part staying at home except for necessary trips. However, I know I have not only been missing Disney but missing people in general. So I wanted to share with you some ideas to stave off the loneliness or craziness and have some Disney Magic!

1) Disney Movie Marathon

I decided to watch the classic Disney movies in the order they were released. I have already watched Snow White and Pinocchio. I will watch a few more this weekend.

I also plan to have a Star Wars marathon at some point!

2) Disney Treats

I personally just bought a Frozen waffle maker that makes snowflake waffles. You can also explore the grocery store and buy Disney treats or explore Google or Pinterest for some great ideas and recipes. There are both Disney themed treats and Disney park treat copy cat recipes. So do whatever makes your heart happy.

Disney has also shared a few of their recipes! (I am sure they are modified and not their exact recipes but I will take what I can get!)

-Here is the Churro Recipe they shared!

3) Watch some Disney Parks Vlogs

There are so many great Youtubers out there! I highly recommend Fresh Baked Disney-they're my favorite. I have also posted a couple Disneyland Vlogs.

I know it's not the same but at this moment it's better than nothing. Especially with the parks being closed right now.

-Check out my Disney Vlogs playlist!

-Here is my favorite Disney Vlogger, Fresh Baked Disney!

4) Ride your favorite Disney park rides virtually

There are lots of ride walkthroughs on Youtube. Also lots of people have been making their own ride videos at home! I have to say, this crazy time has definitely led to some great content!

-Here are a few virtual walkthroughs:

5) Find some Disney crafts

There are so many fun ideas out there. Again, Pinterest is a great place to start. But here are a couple fun ideas:

-Disney Diamond Painting

-Buy a Disney coloring book

-Find a Disney DIY project (like wall art or a shadow box)

-Buy a Disney Lego set!

Now is a great time to get started on any project that has been in the back of your mind.

6) Go shopping online! (Both on Shop Disney or Etsy)

I know this is the most dangerous option, but it's so much fun! Now is a great time to support local artists by finding some great stuff on Etsy!

You can bring some Disney Magic home!

So these are some ideas to get you started. Have you done any of these things yet? Or what other ideas do you have?
