All Disney Parks Reopening! (Well Almost)

After months of all Disney Parks being closed due to COVID-19, we finally have good news! All Disney Parks have reopened or announced dates of reopening. However, Disneyland has delayed their reopening.

Shanghai Disneyland - May 11th

Shanghai Disneyland was the first park to announce their reopening on May 11.

Hong Kong Disney - June 18th

Hong Kong was the second park to reopen, and they didn't hesitate. The announcement was made on June 14th! That's only FOUR DAYS warning! Needless to say, it was surprise for all.

Tokyo Disneyland - July 1

The third park to reopen is Tokyo Disneyland. Both parks are reopening July 1st.

Walt Disney World - July 11 and 15

Walt Disney World in Florida is opening in two stages. The Kingdoms (Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are reopening July 11th and Epcot and Hollywood Studios are reopening July 15th.

Disneyland - ???

Originally Disneyland in Anaheim was going to be opening July 17th, the 65th anniversary of the parks opening in 1955. However, because of the state stepping back from reopening and closing business that were previously given the ok, Disneyland's reopening has been pushed back.

We don't have any idea when Disneyland will be reopening at this time. The soonest Disneyland will hear from the state is over July 4th, but that is only on whether they approve the plan to reopen. (Which by now we all know it is unlikely to be approved.) Reopening may get pushed back until September or October.

I am excited that all the Disney Parks have reopened except for Disneyland. Of course, that's the one I want to open the most at the moment, however, I completely understand. Disney can take all the precautions they can, however, you can't control the stupidity of people.

I will keep you updated with any news.
